So I have an 08 Laguna 3, 1.5dci, got it in July, air con wasn't blowing cold so presumed it needed regassing, took it to an aircon specialist in sept and he said the compressor isn't firing up when the air con is switched on, didn't bother looking into it more as it was getting into winter. Car was in for service today, asked them to plug it in and see if there compressor was showing an error code, as the aircon specialist suggested and it's not showing an error.

Mechanic has suggested it might be an electrical issue, could be wiring from the switch to the compressor, has any one had similar issues? Or can suggest a good auto electrician in Meath/Kildare/Dublin?

I also sometimes find that if I turn the heat up high (22-23c) to clear windows on a cold morning that when I set the temp back down to 19/20 it didn't change the temp of air being blown out. I haven't been using it on "auto" setting as I didn't see the point with the a/c not working.

Any ideas/advice greatly appreciated.
