    Hi
I have read through alot of the post here but the is no definite answer
and There are some reports of boot looping during the setup.

As Eircom do nothing more that turn on the broadband I need some help making sure I am doing this correctly

I believe this is the setup method I should follow http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=85759968&postcount=4

Is the correct. I have some many rules on my netgear n600 and port forwards to different things I really do not want to have to test everything or even try and add them to the eircom modem. I just want to use it as a fibre modem and pass everything on to my Netgear router.

    (so vdsl >eircom modem > Netgear Router> mailserver/otherservers/switches/ and users )

Bridging is what I need right :D
