    Hi
    what is battery life like?
20hrs plus or will I need external charge?

    Ford, I got 20 hours from a 705 with a new battery.

You can then get more with an external one.

The battery life has been great on it and it has never let me down. Last really long ride I did on it was 13 hours (11 hours rolling) and I think it had about a third remaining.

I don't think though that you would get much over 20hrs out of it or indeed any of the gps units with mapping (800,810 etc).

I have recently bought an external power pack for my new unit for the same reason (though I will probably never use it).

Offer 175 with a minor caveat (via pm)

Ford 2600 thanks for the offer but I think that around asking is a good price (not sure what the minor caveat is either).

Forgot to say that unit comes with charger & cable.
