Is it worth having a thread like this ?
Do many of you have piles of unwanted bits at home?

I think its a good idea if we include unwanted helmet's/jackets/sprare tankbags/panniers etc etc.

Offered : stebel nautilus horn- never got around to fitting it.
Collection Dublin City Centre or within reason.

Great Idea for a thread and it has worked well over in the cycling forum. I don't think helmets should be allowed to be offered though.

I must go and have a look in the garage to see what junk stuff i could do with clearing out. ;)

I think it's a good shout. One mans junk is another mans treasure and all that jazz.

Good idea alright. I know I have a few bits...for example:

    Polished swingarm for a C model ZX9
OE Titanium end can for a Kawasaki (ZX12 I think)

I know I have more, must have a look to see what else...

Yes good idea - but one rule: Must include detail. No point in a post saying "Tank bag for Sale" or "Wanted - leathers" etc.
Need specific detail. If selling, make model, fitting, condition, photo if possible, guide price.
I'll put another thread to start it but please let me know your thoughts about guidelines for ads etc.

Similar to cycling thread, everything should have a price on it, or free if it is to be free. This saves the thread getting cluttered with enquiries about price.

If it's any good, I hadn't much luck positioning it near the stock horn on my fully faired SV1000.
My next attempt would have been under the seat.

Exact same bike im on :o

I guess under the seat is possible but it would be a fairly tight squeeze.
Might be more hassle than its worth.

If you want to take it to try you are more than welcome. I'm (motor)bikeless so it's just sitting around.

If Goodlad doesn't want it I'd be glad to be next in line.

    Lads and ladies,

I have a pair of Sidi Vortex Goretex boots for sale, size 47, would fit maybe 12.5 - 13. Loads of life left in them - €100 obo

Also a ladies (not mine :P) Takano textile jacket (XL) , only tried on twice and never worn on a bike - €70

I'm doing a clear out at the moment, there'll be some free stuff to take away, I'll list it soon.

Resurrecting this old but good thread.:D
Anyone got a high screen for a Deau?
Looking to replace my stock low one with a higher one for wind protection.
Something like the optional high OEM one or similar would be good.

Haven't got a screen, but I have a carbon fiber mudguard extender for a Deauville if you want it.

    Yours going... Free.

That would be fantastic, I've been looking at them for a while now.

I have an Oxford tricke charger that I got with my last bike but never used, just dug it out of a box. You'd have to get the right connection but might save someone some cash. Free to good home if you can collect :)
