I recently purchased an MSI 970a G43 motherboard.
I have THIS Ram at the moment but want to go from 4gb to 8gb and will sell my old RAM.

Would this be ok to use.

I have a AMD Phenom II X4 Processor which I hope to upgrade at a later date to the FX6300.
    Cheers

Just so you are clear. The fx6300 processor is just 17 euro more expensive than the ram upgrade.

Would it not be better to put in the new processor and add the ram at a later date? you should see better improvements with the new processor , over adding more ram.
