JSA under 25, parents self employed

    If applying for JSA and under 25, how is your parents' income assessed if they are self-employed? Is it done on the basis of average weekly earnings in 2013 or some other way?

    Usually the person making the claim will be asked to produce the most recent set of accounts available to show the parental income either from profit or drawings
