Lastminute Booking - Aer Lingus Check-In

    I booked a flight and accommodation through lastminute.ie, the flights are with Aer Lingus. I'd like to check-in in advance but the Aer Lingus site needs my booking reference (which I have) and the e-mail address used at the time of booking, which I don't.

    I assume it's a lastminute.ie address and I've sent them a query but I'm wondering has anyone had this experience? Is it simply not possible to check-in in advance if you don't book directly with the airline?

    Did you not try your own email address that you used when booking on lastminute.ie?

    Yes, I did. I got the "Email Address does not match the email address in the booking" message.

    AFAIK, you cannot check in until 30 hours before the flight (advance check-in is not available unless you booked on aerlingus.com).

    But if you are travelling to USA or Canada, you can at least select your seats - go to "Select your seat" and click the link on the right.

    Yeah, that seems to be the case, you don't need an e-mail address for the web check-in.

    Not to worry, we'll do it at the airport, just wondered if this was normal.
