Does anyone else feel very frustrated that so many advertisers don't/can't/won't post the clubs they're advertising?

It makes no sense to me either. Get paid by paypal in advance. Then stick them in the post. Voila. Opens up a whole new market.

Done it myself plenty of times in both directions and never an issue.

Adverts has gone down an awful lot since it became a separate entity. You put something up for sale and get offered a ridiculously low amount.

I agree or people bid a price you agree and they go into hiding ruining your AD! I for 1 think it has really gone down hill, was a great site for years...

Best bet there is to withdraw and create a new ad. A pain in the a but better than alternative

I know its even worse when you have to do it a few times on the 1 ad! I always report the user & leave bad feed back. but I think this is going unheard, back in the day if you bid on something and didnt follow through after it was accepted you got a warning from a admin!

A lot of people don't have time to "just stick them in the post" between work and family - it's a pain in the hoop packaging(assuming you have club boxes) then checking the postage cost with the PO not to mind the fact of people claiming not to have received unless you demand registered which a lot of people won't pay for :mad::mad:

Exactly for these reasons, I don't post clubs and refuse requests to do so.

Fair points. I guess it depends how often you sell. I don't often so when I do a trip to the post office is worth it.
In fact I find it easier to post than arrange to meet because of kids/work.

Demanding registered is reasonable to me.

Now there is a charge when you sell your item. Fair enough if that was the original arrangement but why all of a sudden is this being introduced? Make money obviously but someone justify it. Thats going to ruin it alone.

With that being brought in now you cannot PM someone until you have accepted their offer. In the past you could negotiate in PM rather than publicly show your hand on the advert. For example if i was selling something for 100 and was offered 80 I might PM saying ill meet you at 90 and they offer it and happy days. Now you'd have to publicly say ill take 90. If they say no all of a sudden your new asking price is 90. Joke.
