Sky BB down since yesterday

    Our service dropped yesterday around 4pm and been down since. Sky tells me it has to be down 72hrs befor they will arrange for eircom to check it out. Anyone else down at the moment in Ardrahan or that area in Galway. Not happy. :(

    Still down. Spoke to Sky CS again today and they will not ask eircom to do a call until tomorrow so likely hood been that we wont have broadband before Monday.

    Crazy that sky wont send it out for 3 days. No other ISP that I know of does that.

    Make sure they reimburse you for the days your service was down.

    Sorry folks. I meant to come back and update ye. Got a call on Saturday from the crew and the tech arrived at the house 1/2 hour later. I had informed Sky that a KN tech was working on a pole the same day the broadband went down and the Eircom tech told me that it looked like he had disconnected my line while connecting another line for another house. Had it back running in about an hour. Sky have said that they will reimburse for the downtime but they should have heeded what I had said about the KN tech and come up with the idea that the likely hood been that he done something wrong and responded in kind.
