Maternity Benefit Income Continuance

I've been suffering from a chronic illness and have been in receipt of a combination of illness benefit and a top up from my income continuance policy through my employer. I'm still officially an employee of the company and pay tax and prsi as normal. Am I still entitled to maternity benefit?
