    Hi
a friend of mine is in a bit of a jam....hoping someone can offer some advice :)

he was claiming unemployment benefit a year ago, and during this time he stupidly took some temporary work for a couple of weeks and didn't declare this at the time.
He came off benefits 3 months later and now recently lost his job. Now after applying for benefits, he is being investigated.

Can anyone offer any advice, and suggest if he came clean with them what would the penalty be?

He is in panic mode at the moment......but wants to clear this up quickly and honestly.

    Any help is appreciated
