Ryanair: Booked child as an adult, what to do about age?

My Brother is under 16 and will be travelling with me (over 20) so won't be unaccompanied. I booked him as an adult because he got a ryanair voucher for Christmas and you have to be passenger one to use it. Since he was under 16, it wouldn't let me put him as passenger one. Now when I am trying to check in, it won't let me select his birthdate since he is supposed to be an adult. What can I do? I've seen some places online saying it doesn't matter he will still be allowed travel but what do I do about his birthday when checking in? Just put it as a few years older than he is?

Tried ringing but they won't talk to me saying my name isn't the one that booked. I assume it is his name since he was put as passenger one.

Sorry but this is impossible to understand.

For Ryanair purposes he is not a child (as in cheaper fare), for checking in purposes you should be able to check in all passengers booked on the same booking.

With Ryanair when booking a flight, passenger one has to be an adult. We wanted to use his voucher so I had to book him in as an adult since the person using a voucher has to be booked in as passenger one.

Then you'll have to get your brother to ring.

They mightn't let you fly if the birth dates on the booking and passports don't match up.
