Anyone try this car tracker from Amazon?

Has anyone got this car tracker working in Ireland? If so what sim card? I've tried with Vodafone PAYG sim and just get constant red light. I have requested the sim be downgraded to 2G networks only. At this stage I don't know is problem with the the sim card or the tracker unit. Thx.

Hi have the smaller model of that tracker and it work with a O2 sim card

I have one. Didn't work with emobile, O2 sim did work however.

Did you disable the PIN number on the SIM? I feel foul of that one on my first attempt.

Standard Meteor SIM works fine on mine.

Thanks for responses. Just to close: I couldn't get vodafone sim to work - even when they disabled 3g APNs. A new O2 3g PAYG sim does work with this tracker.

I have it and use a Meteor sim with no issues. Just keep it topped up once every 3 months with €5
