I am with emobile since november and have a htc one on bill pay. Last night I smelt smoke in the room, I realised it was from my phone I lifted it and it was hot and sparking from the charge port. Can you explain why this happened and will it be covered by emobile?

Sorry to hear this happened to your phone Lojak,

I have never heard of this happening. The only thing I can recommend is to get the phone sent to our repair company to be inspected.
