    Hi all

Bit of help needed if possible.

Was fixing a friends conservatory roof yesterday after the storm in February.
Its a DIY one they bought from B&Q a few years back,i replaced the plastic see through paneling on the roof etc,but one U channel was badly damaged and needs replacement,it clips on to an extruded aluminium piece that divides up the see through panels to provide a water cover.
I dont even see a mention of conservatories on their website anymore, any ideas where i could get one,im in Shannon in Clare.

Send a PM to <SNIP> He's in the conservatory construction business.

First thing to figure out, is what Roofing Systen was used.

B&Q when they sold Self-build Conservatories here, used K2, in the UK they used that or Global.
Both are similar, but parts for one might not fit the other, bit like looking for a Ford part in a Renault garage

Ask your mate if this means anything, as the roof would have had the Manufacturers name on all the packaging.

If not post a few pictures here, of the parts you need, and the entire Roof, look under the existing parts for any manufacturers stamp,

Neither Co, have a manufacturer in Ireland, so it may be a case of contacting one or both with pictures to see if they can identify the part.

B&Q will be as useful as a chocolate teapot, as they no longer sell Conservatory Kits, they will not be interested.

B&Q in Limerick have twin wall conservatory roofing and the roof glazing bars, a call into the shop rather than a phone call might help locate the part you need.
