How long would this cycle take?

    Hi!

I'm a relatively inexperienced cyclist and I would cycle a couple of miles around four times a week.

During the summer I am planning on doing a cycle that is approximately 35km.
The topography would be relatively flat the whole way.

Could anyone tell me how much time this cycle would take at a relatively casual pace?

Not being smart or anything but it depends on your speed -and that is affected by a few things, such as if you are cycling into a headwind on the day, or if you are riding a road bike vs a mountain/hybrid bike (i.e. skinny tyres vs. bug chunky slow ones). if a casual pace is about 15-18kmph (which is very doable) then like the previous poster said, 2 hours.

35 km seems like a big jump up but its a very achievable distance if you have any sort of fitness in you. Just make sure you are well hydrated in the days before your cycle and that you are eating proper food - no macky D's! :D

What will you be riding, bicycle, tricycle, tandem or unicycle? Give yourself extra time for unicycle travel.
