Might as well get a thread going. Date might change if it suits nobody!

This was a very successful and enjoyable meet last year, unless you drove up from Galway and couldn't find us :pac:

The meeting point will be in the carpark here at 8pm (I think that's a good time anyway)

All the usual motors meet rules will apply.

Everyone is welcome no matter who you are or what you drive!

Something that I should have included in the OP that I didn't, last year this meet also incorporated a drive up the Wicklow gap. I'm not sure if it'll happen again this year but this is the route if it does.
The same as with the meet, all aspects of the drive are kept within the law etc as we are representing boards :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,917 ✭✭✭✭Toyotafanboi

the gap drive and second location made it for me. the banter could have continued all night. i'd highly recommend it to any newcomers!

On second thought, Glendalough is probably a bit of a stretch for me, especially that late.

Well it's a week day so it gives people time to get there after work. Also takes advantage of the longer evenings :)

It's mostly so people can clean their cars all day before the meet :p

I clean the truck daily now that it is car show season.
The carina on the other hand has a no wash policy. I've done 5k miles since I got it, and have not washed it once.

Disappointing but I'm out for this, 28th would have suited me better but I understand people have to work on the 29th.

A Friday at 8pm, in a secluded carpark? With a later go up a gap?

Have motors meets turned a strangely bendy corner?!?

On a more serious note, do young people not go out on the tear on Friday nights anymore? :P

I'd advise on those attending to bring gas masks or some other sort of breathing apparatus - as I will be bringing the carina.:D

I guess not! Sure a litre of unleaded petrol is still cheaper than a litre of beer in the pub! :D

The Friday isn't exactly ideal, but may pop down and say hi! Need to show off the wheels after all!

On a Friday night I think I'd prefer the beer. Higher cost and all. :P

Id take the petrol, I am not really in to Alcohol.

I'll be a designated driver if needs be! Couple of cans of Dutch gold in the carpark, we'd be laughing. :D

If I have an engine in the MG, I will definitely be at this.

So I'm a 'maybe' for now.

    I can't on English plates.

I still have my classic policy, so I'll just put the MG on tomorrow or something.
