    List is from the Netherlands, but the ranking would have been similar enough here, with a few British cars I guess. Note there is only 4 cars from outside of Europe (all Japanese):

    Interesting but I'd say Irish figures would be way different.
    For instance, the Ford Taunus aka Cortina was much slower to sell than the Cortina , so the Cortina would be higher than third, and the Escort and Fiesta were world beaters especially in Fordy Ireland and would have been higher,
    The Peugeot 504 ranked 7th, not in Ireland I feel, maybe they were common as taxis on the Continent.
    8000 Talbot Horizons? NO way here, I brought one over from the UK and no one knew what it was. The Avenger would have easily outsold it here, but doesn't feature at all.
