Most likely low budget, only ever shown in your local arthouse cinema for a very limited run. i went to see Last Days in Dublin back when it was released and still quote the movie with a mate who happened to see it. For instance :
    Q : giz a smoke?
    A: don't have any smokes!
    Q: then giz your jacket
    Legs it

I'd love to see it again and don't think its been made into a dvd, so are there any films that you have fond memories of, but may be relegated to memory status because they won't be released again?

The one for me is "The Bible & Gun Club". I saw it on RTE maybe 15 years ago. Seemed to be a low budget film about door to door sales men selling Bibles & guns. I think they attended a convention in Las Vegas. Shot in black and white. A late night film I wasn't expecting to be great - which made it even better. I have tried finding info on it, no success. IMDB I think has very little also. I think it was part of some series of films presented by "Daragh Reddin". I used to love watching them, RTE used to have some great stuff.

It looks like you can watch it on you tube though?

or is it a different one? I'm talking about movies that aren't on youtube or are unlikely to be, movies that are fading into the mists of time

Thanks Skill Magil, I haven't Googled it in ages. Seems to be only on YouTube since November. I will enjoy this.

I actually have a TV rip of the Bible and the Gun Club, took me ages to find it and then I never watched it. May throw it on later tonight

I saw a bit of a film called Knights when I was a kid. All I know is that it had Kris Kristofferson. I would have loved to have seen the whole thing though it's probably tripe.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

It's utter nonsense and is everything that Albert Pyun specializes in. Cheap, stupid, poorly acted and the film that if seen at 10 you'll look upon fondly.

In my defence, I was at most 12 when I saw the first 15 minutes of it.

No need for defence, I'd love to see the whole movie, in fact I wish I could see it through your 12 year old eyes ( if that doesn't sound a bit weird haha )
But for me, Last Days in Dublin, shall, alas never be seen again!

It's hard to imagine any movie I've seen isn't on the internet somewhere TBH. I've never had a problem finding any movie at all, but maybe my tastes aren't so local/leftfield.

The Reunion, my favorite out of the 25 or so movies I saw at JDIFF this year. Has yet to even find a distributor here.

Oh yeah, the wait is worse too because my first thought after it ended was "I could watch that again right now!". A brilliant enigma of a movie and I have a sneaking suspicion that if it is released here it'll only end up in the smallest screen of the IFI for a week. Shame.

So who' has the reel? Can they be asked to show it again?
