    Hi folks
I have a pedigree limousin bull which is due to be sold soon, which has angle berries on his neck, I've tried <MOD Snip> but has made no difference. Is there any thing that is known to remove them ?? Thanks

They are severe enough. I always heard of <MOD snip> painted on. Don't know will it work when that big?

They are caused by a virus and will disappear in time once his immune system fights the virus off,so theres not a lot you can do but wait for them to regress Im afraid. Keeping them clean and using alamycin spray on them if they are rubbing and starting to look infected helps. <MOD Snip> but id be wary of flies and infeciton this time of year!
I have heard that <MOD snip> on them can shrink them up a bit quicker as it dries them out but it wont stop more appearing.

I don't know if this is true or not but I heard of a lad with similar problem to you. He had a pedigree bull he wanted to sell which was covered in them. <MOD snip> But like I said I can't verify any of this so ud need to speak to a vet.

I had a heifer a few years ago who had them alot worse than your bull and my own vet suggested doing 1 of 2 things. 1 let them run there course and they'll fall off evetually or 2 take a sample of the angle berry and send it off to a lab where they could make a cure specific to that animal.

Needless to say I went with option 1.

are they the real narrow ones? we had a heifer with similar, we used <MOD Snip>, maybe they would have fallen off themselves but her neck was covered in them

There is loads of old school remedies that vets or public might not be happy with but they work and are being used.

The information you posted did not come anywhere close to a remedy, old school or otherwise. Do not post that sort of nonsense again.
