    hi,

I'm looking to buy a (cheap) travel chess set. I can't buy one online, because I'm going away at the end of the week, so amn't guaranteed that it will be delivered on time. Is there a shop somewhere in Dublin that sells travel chess sets? I live/work in Blackrock, so somewhere in that area would be ideal.

    Thanks

I tried Argos in Dun Laoghaire, but no luck. Are there any toy shops near Blackrock that might stock one?

There is a shop upstairs in Stephens Green SC (Third floor I think) that stocks chess sets, they have a fair few ornamental sets as well as travel sets.

The Pen Corner on College Green / Dame Street has a couple of nice travel sets.

Smyths (toys.ie) or Toymaster is another option

For better prices you will need to go online - London Chess centre is good and delivers quickly

I need to track down a travel chess set in a hurry. Can anyone suggest a shop in Dublin City Centre where I would definitely be able to pick one up today?

    Thank you!

I just bumped an old thread about this, I can't link to it on my phone.
