jsa means test

hello, today I had an interview to means test me for jsa and I was told im intitled to nothing as my ex girlfriend applied for jsa (she got a job a week after applying so she received nothing) but now im being told I need to prove I am no longer going out with here even though we never lived together at all. When I asked how I can prove it I was told get an affidavit from a solicitor to prove it. When I enquired was that the only way I can go about it I was told I don't know by the interviewer, and when I asked if there was someone else I could contact to inform me on this I was told im not aloud to speak to anyone else about this unless im denied payment and appeal it. Has anyone else come across This before? Is this the norm? Also if I was still together with my girlfriend and wasn't living with her or wasn't receiving any financial support from here would I have been assessed on her income anyway?

I wonder did she apply for you as her dependent on her cancelled JSA claim?
Look, if you have a different address to her then you must have some up to date correspondence addressed to you at your address which should prove that you and she are living seperately. Utilitiy bills bank statements, stuff like that. That should be fine.

I have provided all my details but we are no longer together and didnt end on good terms. I can try get her to send in her proof of address but dunno how long it will take
