changing the tractor (landini 8550) need somethin bigger was thinking of a new holland 7840 sle! are they a reliable tractor. is there things i shud b looking for?? cheers

SLE have a bit of a rep. for needing calibration of the gearbox. Is there a new Holland dealer in the area? SL are the more basic gearbox, and pretty much bulletproof. Some folk will be along to advise on the difference in Blue roof and White roof models. This was covered in lots of older threads, if you do a bit of searching. Engines practically never give trouble.
