    Hi all
Does anybody have advice for a club buying a set of race radios? Google is not quite giving me what I expected so if you have any links to a good shop that would be great. Or if you know of anyone selling a set let me know.
You get the idea here...any advice much appreciated!!!

For 5 grand, I can get you Joe Duffy with his head out a sun-roof and a megaphone. Claims not to need the megaphone.

If that's what you call them, yes.
3 car units and a number (tbd) of hand held radios.

Sounds great Wav. We're looking for 3 car units and a number of hand held units. This depends on the cost really but it will be either 6 or 10.
    Thanks!

Hi wav. We're a club down in munster and are inthe same boat. Need about 7-10 radio's for running our event. Tried using mobiles last year and it was a disaster. Any help with locating a suitable set and prices would 've greatly appreciated.

Im away on ras next week but will work on it when i get back
Top of my head ballpark figure guess would be about e2200 for 3 car radios and 6 x hand held with chargers. They would come pre tuned to the Cycling Ireland frequency which makes them compatable at any race as there are lots out there now on the frequency
Rough guide is e300 for car set complete with power supply, antenna, and microphone, and about e250 for hand held. These are approx new prices but sometimes he has second hand stuff.Depends on what the budget/requirements are reallyAt those prices 3+6 would be approx e2400 but he will do a deal im sure
