Renault Parking Brake Warning Reset

    Hi,

I posted this in Car Maintenance forum, but got no response so just trying here in case more readers in this forum.

I need to reset 'Check Parking Brake' warning on 2004 Renault Scenic, after a repair and appears to be working perfectly now. Renault want €60 for diagnosis and might turn off warning for that price.

Does anyone know where I could get this done cheaply?

Have an OBDII tool which can reset engine codes, but not the EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) warning. Priced a few tools that should do it, Renault CAN Clip etc. but they are pricey enough.

Have NCT on Saturday, so will probably end up paying through the nose with Renault if I cannot find a kind soul to do for a decent price. I've rang around a number of garages with no luck so far.

    Thanks.

Probably ten years too late but apparently there was a recall to fix that problem in the uk

Thanks, but I had that update done a few years ago. There was an actual fault with a brake caliper, which is now resolved, so simply need the warning turned off.
