I have a few questions about selling on ebay that I would be grateful if anyone could help me

    1) if you sell a few private items on ebay I assume you don't have to worry about charging VAT?

    2) If you buy a few items as a private individual (as opposed to a business) from a dropshipper and sell it on ebay are there any tax implications?

    3) if you set up as a business and sell them to uk customers would you have to charge them VAT? (Assuming you were over the vAT threshold)

    thanks in advance

    1) No.
    2) If you are buying them resell then you should declare the income for tax purposes.
    3) Yes. Its only when selling to a VAT registered UK company that you wouldn't need to add it on.
