    Hello

Could someone please make recommendations for the following:

    Installation:
South facing sloping plot, within a valley, open to what can be strong prevailing winds, soil has decent drainage and is currently good quality grassland.

    Tree Purpose:
to provide light shading/wind protection and look good while doing it

Would apple trees work if they could be protected as best possible from direct force of the wind?

    appreciate your feedback!
