    An interesting rogue-like that puts a nice portable twist on the genre. Difficult but fair, and surprisingly strong in terms of atmosphere.

    One noteworthy point is how they handle controls. They're not quite perfect, but they've made some smart decisions to ensure this type of game works on a touchscreen. One side of the screen controls movement (the whole side, so no virtual d-pads!) while three simple gestures on the second side control attack (hold for strong), shield and projectiles. They're also generous enough to let you open the pause menu to use the temporary special powers you collect around the place.

    Overall, a compulsive and deep game - you often get the former on mobile, but the latter is a rarity :)
