Yea - heard her this morning and I thought her voice had really deteriorated. She was great in her day. Shame the way things went for her after. Some brilliant old footage on this!

She had a concert in Galway during the week and it was packed out.
She's a lovely woman. She was mad about long hair. She used to compliment my sister to the high heavens coz of her hair!

    That finished pretty abruptly.

    It was lovely though. :)

Whatever happened to her? No great albums and then nothing....

This was a lovely programme and Dolores was and is a great singer. It is her and her kind that is severely missed in Irish music at the moment. This is real Irish folk music. Her and her brother Sean are great singers.

Great programme, I really enjoyed it. I love her voice, and she was so honest, speaking from the heart. I hope that her health continues to improve.

Love her version of Caledonia, amazing voice in her heyday, great documentary, her story would make a great biopic, come on Neil Jordan or Jim Sheridan :p

She decided to become a full time mother I think.

    Really great programme!

The trailer caught my attention (the bit where she's saying 'I threw it all away'). I wouldn't have been a fan of Dolores, as such, but I'm so glad I watched this programme - it was full of warmth and humour and honesty - a highlight of the year so far!

What an excellent hour of TV.

Its a story clouded in sadness but with somewhat of a happy ending. I am sure she has many regrets but thankfully she looks to be wining her battle with alcoholism and cancer and gets a second chance at life.

Her voice brings back happy childhood memories of the 80s in our house. Her voice would lift your mind up and carry it to a better place.

    Best of luck Dolores.

I was a child when she was in her heyday but looking back on the old footage she was an amazing singer. Her voice was clear as a bell and she had such poise when she was singing. Tempted to go the gig in the Olympia but afraid it might not be the same voice.

'Storm In The Heart' is being repeated again on RTE 1 now.

I watched it first time around and I thought it was a wonderful documentary - Keane is so brutally honest, it's well worth watching.

Dolores is in good health and she is back performing. She has been touring with her brother Sean Keane recently.
