Changed the battery on Friday eve. Not the easiest of jobs but a lot handier then I thought.
Anyway since then I cant open the boot unless I use the key.
I changed the 'motor' earlier on in the year for a genuine one after the installed one failed.
No joy from key fob or central locking. Its key or nothing.
Checked all fuse's in the drivers footwell and none blown.Without getting a tester on the motor it just sounds like no power getting to the motor.
Any other fuses/relay I am missing?
I read on one the audi forums that sometimes disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it resets the contol unit.
Any one got any other ideas?
    TIA

Disconnect the negative lead from the battery for 2mn then try again.
