New Bike Question

    After many years off the bike and having toyed with the idea for the past 12 months, I’m thinking of taking the plunge and splashing out on a new bike.:eek:

    Been looking at the Cube Litening Super HPC - full Ultegra, Fulcrum wheels - quoted €2,599 at LBS

    Anyone have this bike or have any thoughts on it….

    That's a lotta dosh to splash out considering you are 'many years' off the bike.
    I have a Cube so maybe am a bit partial but it looks great and good spec.
    Test out before you buy!

    Yeah, maybe it is, but with the BTW scheme it takes a few bob off the actual cost to myself. Half of my problem is too much choice at that level and below to begin sorting the wood from the trees.

    I also may harbour designs on doing a bit of, ahem, competitive type activity with it:D

    Jabel, reading through various reviews and comments here on boards.ie, folks seem to have had some problems with Cube and their carbon frames reliability. Have you had any issues?

    Mine's an alu frame not carbon, no issues with it since I bought it last November
