Where's the catch or is this just an insanely good deal? 200Hz refresh rate and all.

Does anyone know anything about this HDD recording feature? Does it mean you can record your TV output to a USB drive?

    50hz

would be very surprised if there was PVR with this.

I've used them before and never had an issue.

it's 200hz "motion" rate, not refresh rate. hard to call but going by what i've read online it's decent enough.

"Full HD - High Definition 1080p (HDTV 1080p)
    50Hz
    AMR+ : 200
    Digital Noise Reduction
    Active Backlight Control

    1433 being advertised as 100hz here :(

it says 200 hz just below it too tho

i reckon its a 200hz... the earlier link that said 50hz was a different model.. so unless there is something out there that says otherwise everything is saying 200hz

seems like a good deal.. tempting.. Are Toshiba tv's any good though? I normally just stick to Samsung or LG

Cycaboose, I bought a 40inch Toshiba a few months back http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/9127111/c_1/1%7Ccategory_root%7CHome+entertainment+and+sat+nav%7C14419512/c_2/3%7Ccat_19780832%7CTelevisions%7C14419667.htm and I have had no trouble with it. USB plays any file format I've thrown at it. The only differences I've noticed between this and previous LG is the remote feels lighter and 'cheaper' and once or twice the usb has disconnected but that may the usb's fault. Overall happy with Toshiba at a cheaper price than brands such as LG or Samgsung

pretty sickened I didn't jump on this...anyone know if it's available anywhere else at a price like that?

This tv is on sale in Powercity for €499. Seriously thinking of buying one as the lack of Smart features does not bother me.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated from anyone that purchased one.

We bought a 24" Toshiba for kitchen, picture fine but sound quality is awful, unbearably tinny sound, so bad in fact that we have to play sound out through an external iPod speaker dock.

I bought this exact TV in Power City for €499 a few weeks back. Very happy with it!

The only issue is the TV doesn't swivel on the base so if have to point the TV in a certain direction, you have to turn the base too.

Nice bright and vibrant picture in ' sports mode ' , which I leave it on for everything. Lots of settings to fiddle with too! :)
