    Hi..

My daughter will hopefully be starting college in Sept-2014 in Mater Dei (Clonliffe Rd)

Can anyone recommend any half-decent student accommodation around the Drumcondra area..

    > Anywhere to avoid...
    > Any decent auctioneers (!?) in the area etc...

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.....

They have accommodation in All Hallows college which is down the road from Mater Dei. If you're looking for something closer you should contact the chaplain in the college who is very helpful with accommodation referrals. Hope this helps.

Best place to get info is Barrie McEntee college chaplain or get the list of accomodation which is near.
    I'm going into second year.
My friends live on clonliffe road but this is easier to get after your over a year in college, it's who you know really.
I live on Calderwood road which is near and offers Lots of digs accomodation.
I suggest getting st pats and marinos accomodation list too.
Some of my other friends live in Santry which is only a bus journey away and full of students in a place called hazel wood.
Check out any places in phibsborough and on Griffith av.
I know how hard accomodation is but stick with it and it'll work out.
Hazel wood is a great resort if all else fails :)
Best of luck in the CAO to your daughter. It's a great college in my opinion :)
Any problems while she's there feel free to contact lectures or my friend Oisin the welfare officer on the su.
It's what they are there for :)
