Help me find a stolen Rolex

A friend of mine had a Rolex stolen from her car on Friday in North Co Dublin and as you can imagine the Guards are not proving much help in tracking it down. Its a family heirloom and the watch is approx 52 years old and is described as a Solid gold ladies Rolex, circa 1962, small face, pale gold face, safety chain was retro fitted after, wind up mechanism, round face, flat link bracelet - not removable links.

Where would a watch like this be pawned off does anyone know? Surely not too many Rolex's are pawned off in Dublin? Can anyone help us track it down. Pm if you would prefer

    adverts.ie
    donedeal.ie
    gumtree.ie
    ebay.ie

All the usual suspects. Set up email alerts for "rolex" if the sites allow.

Maybe pay a visit to Rolex dealers to see if the thief sold it to a dealer.. You'd need proof of ownership if you found it though. They wouldn't be fast handing it back.

Keep an eye on the likes of O Reilly Auctions each month too as that would be another avenue to offload jewellery.

No it wasn't the one in that add...when I saw the location I thought it was looking good....10 mins drive from where it was robbed. Still no sign of the watch so unlikely to be recovered now

    Not withdrawn! Removed I think.

Bargain if real but something off about it.
