    Hi.
Does anyone know anything about these Modems.
My parents got one a while back and we recently bought them an iPad but when we went to get the wifi working it was asking for a password which is fine but they have no recollection of ever getting a password, it doesn't seem to be written on the modem itself where it usually is.

They already have a pc hooked up to it but its hardwired in so the wifi part has never been used.

Is there a generic password or would one have been given to them on installation of the unit?

There is a support phone number but it doesn't open till tomorrow(monday)
Was hoping to get it going for them before i leave tonight.
    Thanks

Google would suggest thats just a modem? You wouldnt have a second box there beside it would you?

In any case, try browsing to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.254 or 192.168.0.1 and see if you get a webpage for your router or a login panel.

You can also open command prompt and then run "ipconfig" and look for the Default Gateway. That'll tell you which IP they used.
