tikka barrel fit sako

    will a tikka barrel fit a sako 75 action
    are threads the same tikka 16 x 1"
    sako ??

    AFAIK the Sako 75 is 1" x 16 tpi so it'd be the same as the Tikka. Once head spacing is the same you're good to go.

    The issue you might have is the bolt. The Tikka has a different bolt than the Sako. The Tikka has two lugs and an ejector, whereas the Sako has three and usually no ejector. Plus the lugs are not square on the Tikka as they are on the Sako.

    Of course i'm not well versed in such specifics so i'm open to correction.

    I think , but am not 100% positive that sako and tikka use m25 x 1.5 pitch threads, which are often confused with the 1" x 16 tpi threads.
