50 euro on Saturdays and 40 during the week seems like a ridiculously good price for this course, has anyone played it recently?

Ok not ridiculously good I suppose but good non the less, it would be up there with Druids Glen for reputation etc and peek season that's 90 euro

I've played it quite a few times and I don't think I've played more than €30 each time.

sorry for bringing up an old thread.

Booked a two night stay for SR in november. What sort of condition will the course be in? Is it playable all year round?

No...it gets quite soggy and tbh I think it's over rated

Don't know if this is any help, but I played Farnham yesterday and, although it was wet, it was still playable... I'd be confident that Slieve Russell handles bad weather better so I reckon it'd be fine to play...

    Opinions differ but,
Personally I think it's an outstanding track. 18 very different times.
It can get soggy that we'll agree on.
