    Will Kinsella/ MPAP presents the first in a series of 1 day Ableton Live workshops in Cork city.

    Learner outcome: 1 day workshops will provide learners with a basic grounding in Ableton Live. This crash course will cover Drum Programming, Synthesis (Bass Lines etc), Arrange/Clip View run down and arrangement basics.

    Its basically a crash course to help people navigate Ableton Software, improve their work flow and achieve better results.

    Dates: Saturday May 17th/Sunday May18th

    Price: 150 per day

    Location: BMG Sound, Tramore Commercial Park, Tramore Rd, Ballyphehane, Cork

    Lecturer Profile: Will Kinsella

    First Discovered by Dave Clarke in 2010. Over the past 5 years Irish producer Will Kinsella has studied Sound and Music Technology, spent a year under the mentorship of Matador (Minus) and worked as a House engineer in Grouse Lodge and Temple Lane studios (where Michael Jackson recorded his last work). His radio show (Ceoltronic) is now in it's 8th year of broadcasting and has resided in RTE for the past 5 years.

    As a producer he has signed tracks to Kombination Research, Sleaze Records and Globox. He was listed in Dave Clarke's top tracks of 2011 with "Kongo". As a promoter he has brought artists such as Jeff Mills, Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, Slam, Sasha Carassi, Cari Lekebusch, The Advent and Industrialyzer to Irish shores through his Equinox/Apocalypse Now projects. Will founded the DIT DJ Society in 2001 which is now Ireland's largest University DJ collective.
