    That would be awesome , but unfortunately I cant see it happening.

    These rumours have been going around in relation to the Wold cup too, but that's going ahead despite stories of unfinished stadiums and workers being killed on site. I remember hearing the same about south Africa in 2010

    Heard this on the radio too on Friday. I'd be amazed if they switch it to London, but if they do, it will be time to resurrect the London Olympic ticket thread :)

    The two previous Olympics that London held were done on short notice so they have the most "experience" of stepping in at the last minute to host the event. Of course there is no way they could do so now with a modern Olympics and it's more than a little different to the two previous occasions.
