Anyone know anything about a low flying twin engined piston aircraft that I heard flying in a SW-NE direction at about 2am this morning flying close to Greencastle in Donegal ? It sounded as if it was very low.

    Thanks

Its the transatlantic flights. I hear them every night.

Especially the fedex ones which fly at 30,000

Twin engine piston trans-atlantic flights? Have I slipped back to 1935?

Thanks Owenc but definitely not a flight at 30000ft - this was very low - was half expecting to hear about a crash - but nothing in the news - never heard this before
