Here is a new thread devoted to the last word in console and cab resources, so we are talking info the best way to get RGB from an NTSC N64, where to find a light bulb for your Candy Cab and so on.
We will be editing and deleting posts as we go, to generate the best information for all thread readers be they founts of knowledge or complete n00bs.

RGB VS Composite

RGB is a pixel perfect, super clear picture. The colours are bright and vivid, the edges all sharp.

Composite has colour bleeding, interference, dot crawl - it's not very pleasant. Dot crawl actually kind of hurts my eyes now after getting used to RGB.
