    Hi all,

So between running, a job where I stand all day and a love for penneys flats, I've given myself a nasty case of heel pain and need to invest in some better quality work shoes. I'm looking for recommendations of what people find the best. So far I'm had hush puppies and clarkes recommended. Also crocs, but I really don't like the look of them! Any ideas? I don't wear heels to work so they still need to be flat or with a small wedge, and ideally pretty as I'm sad to say goodbye to my vast collection of lovely but agony inducing cheap footwear :) Thanks!

These might be suitable: http://www.amazon.co.uk/FitFlop-Casual-Shoes-Due-Women-UK-6-5-All/dp/B00CEYQQZI/ref=sr_1_1?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1399541015&sr=1-1&keywords=fitflop+ballerinas but not if you have very wide feet.

Try brands like Reiker and Gabor also - you can pick up fashionable ones. Also Ecco have some surprisingly cute shoes but they can be pricey.

I know exactly what you mean, I'm always on the lookout for comfortable pretty flats that are affordable (the holy grail).
I got two pairs of the prettier crocs and they cut my feet very badly (I quite have broad feet though so ended up giving them to my Mum and she loves them) although the sole is really comfy, like walking on air. I've two pairs of clarks shoes and they are quite comfy and seem to have good support and wear in very quickly, no weeks of blisters with them.

I follow enbrogue's blog and she wears flats all the time and sometimes some of them are really pretty. She suggested emmy twenty before but I don't know how comfortable they are. Some of the stuff in marks seems quite pretty and comfy. You could also try get a good pair of insoles and put them in your shoes?

Footglove by marks and Spencer are the most comfortable shoes I ever got, I have boots, flats and sandals from the range and they are all so comfy!

I wore Clark's when I was in retail. They have super cushioned insoles that made standing all day bearable!

I wear these inside of all my flat shoes http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B003ASUOK0/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1399748930&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165. If I don't wear them I sure feel the pain in my feet. For work I tend to wear hush puppies or clarks.
