    I am looking for a brake band for the above model, I have trawled online and seems to be very little Oleo Mac parts online, does anyone know any shops in Ireland or good sites that could help me out, need a new bar and chain too but that should be easily got.
    Any info or help be appreciated. :)

    In the same boat as yourself. Looking for a band for a little 938. Efco saws are the same I think so ya should try that route, find the 956s sister saw and parts should be the same

    Thanks Kay 9, I have located a band for an efco model, €30 to Ireland from abbeygardensales in the uk, try them for a band they might have your model.

    FitzHire in Belturbet also an Oleo Mac dealer. Good man with 2 stroke engines, knows his stuff.

    Just an update that i got a break band from a company in the midlands, €20 posted so well happy with that.

    KWS in Portlaoise supply Oleo mac and sharpen and make chains. Also have Stihl.
