Right lads, I'll keep it short. I have a sapphire HD 7870 2GB that I'll be putting up for sale on adverts.ie soon. It was bought in July 2012 and works perfectly never overclocked as I wouldn't know how. It'll be coming out of my current rig, as I will be upgrading soon. What price realistically should I be looking for? Thanks for your time.

    Reckon you could get €100-€115.

Or even offer it as part exchange for a better card, what card you looking to upgrade to?

It's between a gtx 770, amd r9290 or really push the boat out for a 780. Where would you part exchange?

I've seen people part exchange on adverts, not often though tbh. Reckon you'd get €110 for your card easily. I've also seen a few 770's and R9 290's on there.

Avoid any second hand r9 290s. A lot of them are reference coolers. nearly all have been used extensively day and night bit coin mining.

Besides the second hand prices are not far off brand new and in a lot of cases are asking for more or same as brand new from an online shop. Just how adverts is.

As for the card ,like was mentioned about 110.

R9 290 is as fast/faster than GTX780 really. You can get a model with a good cooler for as little as €370-ish.

    I would be happy with €100 for a 7870.
