    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for online (free) weights and strength videos.

Basically I'm a female looking to really tone up. I do HIIT and running at the moment but realise I should include some strength training in my routine. I have a gym membership but because of my limited knowledge I dont feel comfortable training in the free weights section on my gym so mainly stick to classes. I would like to be able to fo my weights at home where I am comfortable and not battling for my turn. I have tried Jillian Michaels 30 day shred but I am looking for a longer full body workout that I could do 2/3 times a week.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    GD

What about asking one of the trainers on your gym for a program?

Use an existing program like stronglifts or starting strength. Since you already have gym membership you really should ask to be taught the lifts correctly.

There's a YouTube channel called stack that does very good training videos and workouts looking through their videos will help you find exercises that you'll be able to do at home and incorporate - that's what I've found

Hope it helps, on a phone now but I can link tomorrow

I like strengthcamp with Elliott Hulse. He can be a bit annoying but has some very good tips.

Try Scott Herman fitness on youtube. He has a how to for almost every free weight exercise so you know what you're doing in the free weights.

As for training programs, I've heard good things about P90x which is a weight training program for at home so you may need some equipment to do all the exercises
