Jeep Cherokee 08-10

Anyone here have any experience of owning a 08+ Cherokee like the one linked below in Autotrader. There are plenty of the pre 08's around but this model seems to be very rare.

It seems to have gotten much more favorable reviews than it's predecessor .

What do you think it would be like as a daily driver. My daily commute is short (only about 35 miles round trip) and I might do maybe one long trip a week.

I don't necessarily need a jeep but I would like one. I currently have an estate and I am debating whether I would get another one or a jeep like this.

For me, it looks to strike the right balance between cost (X5 is too expensive) and being too "Soccer mom" (like a Rav 4)

No real experience with the Jeep Cherokee.

If you want a crossover vehicle think about getting a Subaru Forester. Nicer to drive, plenty of space (seats food flat very easily, is an estate, capable off road with its AWD system and higher ground clearance than regular cars, low(er) range gearbox on them as well (non turbo versions), comfortable, reliable and safe.
