Best Automatic Van?

Hi All,

Currently looking for an Automatic Van ( something along the lines of a Renault Master size wise ) to have converted into a small 2 horse van..

Does anyone have any recomendations??? Needs to be Automatic as its all I am licenced to drive & don't want to go down the route of having to hold prov manual licence etc for next 6mths.

Does it need to be a chassis cab or an actual van?

VW Crafter DSG would be nice.

I think that's some sort of semi auto (called shiftmatic)
Maybe they don't come in DSG?

It's a pity about the aversion to autos over here. Lots of vans should be auto given the amount of driving people do in them, especially ones that spend their life driving around cities.

The 3.0 Ducato also came with an auto as an option. Finding chassis cabs may be relatively easy by looking for motorhomes written off from rear end shunts and then getting the body built. The ex-Motorhome route may throw up an Alko chassis meaning a lower rear floor. If insisting on panel vans the Ducato may be a little too narrow.
