New glasses/Lenses

Folks, Just wondering where the cheapest place in Dublin is to get new lenses for my glasses. Also does private health insurance cover new lenses or frames or can you claim back tax relief on them? Went into a well known opticians today and they have gone up greatly in price since I last got new glasses about 7 years ago

average starting prices for single vision lenses are e50 a pair. works out 0.019c a day (over 7 years!). quit being cheap!
