Played Beavertown a number of times, I do like it. The only problem for me is the bunkers. They really have no sand in them. Maybe its been fixed, but its a problem that I have faced more than once.

The greens are great fun and its a good challenge.

Friend and his family are members there, went out a few times. Always enjoyed it.

didn't find it overly testing, thought it was a bit short, I'd say if I was a member I might be off a lower handicap. But because I get to hit so many wedges and the test is accuracy I love it for that. Always in great nick.

Funny enough never played Roganstown. I'm up in Hollywood Lakes, live in Swords, so thought by now I'd have gotten out to Roganstown.

I know a lot of our members left to join there last year, but ended up coming back this term. Must have just had a one year offer on or something?

Might keep an eye out for their scratch cups or opens for both Beaverstown and Roganstown to give it a whirl.

Not sure when the last time you played was however most of the bunkers have been redone in the last year or so.

I know a few lads that joined Roganstown and even though the course is decent they didnt enjoy the lack of real clubhouse feel with it being the hotel bar and ended up leaving.

    Lovely track all the same.

    Played Beaverstown yesterday.
Nice course, good conditions (bunkers a bit hard).

But who is in charge of bookings?
Tee time 16:12, group in front tee time 16:10 (2 min!)
Ladies comp just finished teeing off.
Extremely slow, round took 5 hours!

    Won't be back.

That's poor form- as far as I know they are brs bookings- are you sure about the times, just asking?

It's booked through BRS and done in 10 minute slots so should have been 16:10 and 16:20.
Obviously a mix up somewhere along the way.
Wouldn't let something like that put you off forever though.
