Hope I'm posting in the right place. We are in the middle of building a very traditional type farm house in a rural location. We are looking at windows at the minute but myself and my OH are unsure what colour to go with. The house will have a napped plaster finish which we will probably paint white in the future.
Should we go with a dark window (possibly grey) or is this too modern looking on an old style house or should we go cream? The same dilemma goes for the interior also. What's the easiest colour to match with inside?

Hi!! It's very difficult choice the color without see the house type...But I think the cream color will be very clear combined with the white color and the house will be neutral and little life.
The grey or maybe in brown dark wood can be a good opcion for the windows.
If you have a photo could be more easy.

The colors inside, normally it's easier neutral colors. Per example, the walls and ceiling in white is the best opcion. Sometimes, the ceiling is hight with molding, you can paint the ceiling in dark color(no to much) and the molding in white like the walls
The furniture more important like sofa, chairs, table... can be neutral colors like cream, beige... combined with some soft furniture and elements decoration in colors.

I hope that it will help you.
